Terms of Service

Last updated June 14, 2026

These terms govern your use of the RenderKit API, SDKs, and dashboard. By creating an account you agree to them.

The service

RenderKit provides screenshot, PDF, and content-extraction rendering over an HTTP API, metered in credits. We may update the API, but we will not remove documented, stable endpoints without notice.

Acceptable use

You are responsible for the URLs and HTML you render. Do not use RenderKit to access content you are not authorized to access, to infringe intellectual property, to capture or distribute illegal content, or to circumvent another site's access controls.

Do not attempt to exceed your plan's rate or concurrency limits through multiple accounts.

Billing & credits

Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly through Paddle. Credits reset each billing period and do not roll over. Successful, non-cached renders consume credits at the documented weights (screenshot: 1, pdf: 2, extract: 1); failed renders and cache hits are free.

You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the billing portal; changes take effect on your next render.

Availability

We target high availability and publish status at our status page, but the service is provided "as is" without warranty. Business-plan SLAs, where offered, are described on the pricing page.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RenderKit's liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim.
